Referees
Thank you for volunteering to referee for AYSO Region 657. Your efforts will allow hundreds of players to play each week. You will need to fill out a volunteer form at www.aysoregion657.org. If you are new to the game, please be sure to attend the appropriate training courses.
The AYSO volunteer application is completed inside the Sports Connect account that you create during your Login. The Sports Connect account shows your AYSO ID#. You must fill out a volunteer application annually. Before you can start refereeing for AYSO you need to complete the AYSO Safe Haven course which can be accessed from your volunteer page, under (AYSOU)
1. Go to our website (aysoregion657.org) and login to your account. Look on your Volunteer page and click on the (AYSOU) button.
This opens up the (EtrainU) page which is the university page for all courses and training sessions.
Then on the menu look for Training Library on the My Training folder, select the course you need and
complete it. Most courses will have a certificate you can print when you are finish.
Bring the certificate if it is required for in-person courses.
Every Referee must complete the AYSO Safe Haven training that is required, You may be required to take additional courses,
(depending on your job description)
You will also be required to attend a referee course. This will be required to be able to referee. The season starts in August 2024 with practices.
